We are a warm and welcoming place for joyful Jewish learning. Nurturing teachers, bright classrooms, experiential learning, and a creative curriculum encourage our youth to explore and be proud of their Jewish identity, culture, and history.

· Students in grades K-7 meet on Sunday mornings in person from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. We will meet as a full school for morning T'fillah (prayer service) led by our congregation's Director of Sacred Music, Linda Goodman, as well as other students and teachers.  Additionally, students meet in grade level classrooms for an array of Judaica and Hebrew learning activities.

· Students in grades 4-7 will also meet virtually on Tuesday afternoons for an individual, one on one lesson with either BIRS Director, Jacqui Schulefand, or Morah (teacher) Shari Lynn Kochman, for intensive Hebrew reading fluency and prayer practice.  Each child will be met where they are.  We are able to support and encourage each student to succeed to the best of their ability at their own pace.

· Students in grades 8 & 9 meet virtually twice a month on Sundays from 11:30 – 12:30. Confirmation Class is an informal, small group learning community that focuses on thoughtful conversation about Jewish ethics, values, and practices.
